My daughter started learning to write letters in preschool and it reminded me that I should re-do my own handwriting packets to be TpT worthy! Now we can practice them at home with a pencil, but I also laminated them so we can practice with a Hello Kitty dry erase marker (she wouldn't have it any other way!)

I too have a couple students who need handwriting practice; however it's not something the entire class needs. I'd probably send it home with the few students who need the practice, rather than the whole class. This is a good reminder that I need to do that for a few of my first graders! Thanks!

You are so welcome! I end up sending it home to everyone to start with - the practice can't hurt them. But once we get through the alphabet, I only continue to send it home with students who really need the practice.
DeleteWhat a great resource! I have a couple of kiddos this year that cannot write legibly to save their little lives. Bless them :) This looks like a great tool. Maybe introduce and give them a little practice time in class, then send the rest home for practice. Awesome tool!

Thanks so much Kate! I love how it's easy to copy off and send home, but also use as a writing center or independent practice station in the classroom with dry erase markers. Slipping the pages into plastic page protectors would work well, too, if you don't want to laminate them.
