Some of you may have noticed my new blog header. I have moved from 3rd grade (that I absolutely loved) to my DREAM grade - 2nd! I am so excited! Another thing that my new header gave away is that I have moved to Hawaii!! My husband had a job opportunity here, so I applied for jobs, visited two schools, and accepted a position at Lanai High and Elementary School on the island of Lanai!

Some people think we are crazy for moving our family across the Pacific Ocean, but if you came here, you would see the undeniable beauty. We are outdoorsy people (or else like to think we are!), so this place is our absolute paradise.

That is amazing! I love the beaches where I live but cannot go there in the winter....So lucky!!! Enjoy every minute. Second is a wonderful grade. After first, second, and third, it is a great age of independence. Best of luck!

ReplyDelete2nd is the best - congrats! And I was just on that beach 2 weeks ago! My husband and I were there for our honeymoon. I absolutely loved being there. I could so get used to the "Aloha" way of life! Can't wait to hear about your adventures!
